I am so excited to have you in my class this year. Pre-school is so much fun!! We have many new things to learn and do every day!!!
I have been teaching pre-school in the Little Cat room for seven years. I have worked in education for twenty three years primarily in the gifted program, and Title I. I am also the Federal Program Coordinator for the Greenfield R-IV School District. Pre-school is my favorite place!!!
I graduated from Missouri State University (when it was Southwest Missouri State University) in 1992, earning a bachelor degree in elementary education with an emphasis in early childhood. I completed my master's degree in 2008 in Educational Administration, from William Woods University.
I live in Greenfield with my husband, Keith Rook. He is Superintendent of Golden City Schools, in Golden City, MO. So, we really like school at my house!
I have four children, two boys, Zachary and Trey Daniel, and two girls, Emily and Kaylee Daniel. My oldest son has two beautiful children, my grandchildren, Kelsey and Brody. They call me Nana. Zachary and Trey work on their farms. Emily is a first year teacher at Willard High School in Family and Consumer Science. She likes building and re-purposing things made out of wood. Kaylee is planning her wedding, and will get married in June of 2019. She works in retail in Springfield, MO.
My favorite thing to do is READ!! Curious George is one of my favorite characters, second only to Dr. Seuss. Curious George is a funny, curious little monkey who manages to get into mischief. He is going to accompany us on many adventures this year!!
